Please…do not say that I am being melodramatic. Almost every one of us wants to know what happened to them, how they died. Some died young, while others led a reclusive life and died in seclusion. The list is too long, and it’s not possible
to include each and everyone in this limited space. And most of the materials used have been obtained from the internet. I do not hesitate to admit that I am hooked to their stories. Maybe searching for that hidden element of mystery that eluded everyone, maybe just to glorify their deaths in the eyes of the world, maybe just like that. So here I go, mentioning the most searched for in the net among the whole lot..…
1. Divya Bharti (February 25, 1974 - April 5, 1993): She started her career in 1990 with Telugu films making her debut in Bobbili Raja. After several other hits in the South, she entered Hindi films with Vishwatma in 1992. Around midnight on April 5, 1993, Divya fell to her death off her husband Sajid Nadiadwala's 5-storey apartment building, Tulsi 2 in Mumbai. There were numerous speculations regarding Divya's sudden demise, including the possibility of accidental death, suicide and even murder. Police closed the investigation into her death in 1998, but the circumstances of her death still remain unanswered.

Anuradha Bali alias Fiza, the estranged second wife of former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chandermohan, was found dead in her house in Mohali on August 6 2012 with the police in the dark on the cause of the death. The body of 39-year-old Fiza, a former Assistant Advocate General of Haryana, was found in her bedroom in a highly decomposed state. No suicide note has so far been recovered, The police opened the house after neighbours reported foul smell coming from there. Bali hogged the limelight after her marriage with Chandermohan a few years back in 2008 when he was the Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana. However, after his controversial marriage Chander Mohan was disowned by his father and former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal. Having remained incommunicado for several days, the couple had resurfaced after embracing Islam and Bali changing her name to Fiza and Chander Mohan to Chand Mohammed. Relations later soured between the two and Fiza had attempted suicide last year. After the marriage, Mohan lost his job as Haryana's deputy chief minister. The marriage lasted hardly 40 days with Chandermohan suddenly leaving Fiza's house. Fiza at that time had alleged that her husband Chand Mohammed was kidnapped from her residence in Mohali. She had pointed fingers towards Kuldeep Bishnoi, younger brother of her husband. On March 14, 2009, Chand Mohammad, the elder son of former Haryana CM Bhajan Lal, after disappearing from Fiza's house was spotted near Raj Ghat in New Delhi by police who took him to the Daryaganj Police Station. Later, he left the police station saying that he would go back on his own. Chand Mohammad, however, went missing again only to resurface outside Sector 14 residence of his brother Kuldeep Bishnoi and told TV channels that he was missing his first wife Seema Bishnoi and children and that he could not stay away from them. Chand had called her up from London and uttered "talaq" three times. He also sent her an SMS with the message, she had said.

She was to marry businessman Gautam Khanduja in a few weeks' time. According to her parents, Joseph took the step because her marriage was called off. This was due to Joseph having discovered that Khanduja was still married, although having told her he had been divorced for two years.
4. Kuljeet Randhawa (January 1, 1976 - February 8, 2006): The actress and model was best known for her role in the Kohinoor-series. Randhawa also appeared in several television series includingHip Hip Hurray, C.A.T.S., and a lead role in STAR One's Special Squad. On February 8, 2006, Randhawa hanged herself at her apartment in Mumbai. In a suicide note, Kuljeet stated that she was ending her life as she was unable to cope with life's pressures.

Guru Dutt (July 9, 1925 - October 10, 1964): Often credited with ushering in the golden era of Hindi cinema, Dutt made quintessential 1950s and 1960s classics such as Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool,Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam and Chaudhvin Ka Chand. On October 10, 1964, he was found dead in his bed in his rented apartment at Pedder Road in Mumbai. He is said to have been mixing alcohol and sleeping pills. His death may have been suicide, or just an accidental overdose. It would have been his third suicide attempt.
6. Priya Rajvansh (1937 - March 27, 2000): Priya Rajvansh did only a handful of films during her career, among them Heer Ranjha (1970) and Hanste Zakhm (1973). Rajvansh and filmmaker Chetan Anand had a personal relationship and lived-in. After Anand's death in 1997, she inherited a part of his property along with his sons from his first marriage. She was murdered on March 27, 2000 in Anand's Ruia Park bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai. Police charged Anand's sons Ketan Anand and Vivek Anand along with their employees Mala Choudhary and Ashok Chinnaswamy with her murder. The four accused were convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in July 2002.

Parveen Babi (APRIL 4, 1949-JANUARY 20, 2005): Her face was on the cover of TIME magazine and with super hits like "AMAR AKBAR ANTHONY," "KAALIA," "MAJBOOR," "KHUDDAR," "NAMAKHALAAL," "DEEWAR," "SUHAAG" and "KALA PATTHAR" with reigning stars like AMITABH BACHHAN and SHASHI KAPOOR, Hyderabad's Parveen Babi of royal heritage, was the most sought-after heroine of the 70's and early 80's and yet, jilted in love by KABIR BEDI, film-maker MAHESH BHATT and actor DANNY DENZONGPA, she left the film industry for New York in 1983. Following OSHO for a few years and later involved with the teachings of U. G. KRISHNAMURTY, she returned in 1992 to everyone's shock as a plump and obese Parveen Babi. With controversial interviews to magazines, she hogged the limelight for a while but her neighbours, on seeing her unclaimed newspapers and milk bottles for a while, informed the police and upon breaking her door open, the police found her dead body. She apparently died of complications due to her diabetes. Her body lay at Cooper Hospital for three days before being finally claimed by her cousin from Hyderabad and it was laid to rest at Santacruz on January 23, 2005.
