Smile Please
Ever wondered why some people have this uncanny ability of just making their way into our hearts without even having to make the least effort to do so? Though many a factors come into play, I personally believe that some people have great s
miles which just cannot be ignored. Whether the smiles are genuine or are just great expertise on the part of the personalities in question, I am not very sure. But what smiles they have…..I put the following among the top in my list:
1. Salim Merchant: His smile, although a bit toothy, seems to come straight from one of the four chambers of the heart. The smile seems so genuine, and so cute.
2. Sachin Tendulkar: Endowed with a quiet demeanor, this man has a smile that must have been custom made for him by the Creator. Just look at his eyes when he smile! They light up the entire stadium.
3. Gul Panag: I am not very sure what do I like more - her smile or her gorgeous dimples?
4. Mother Teresa: The beatific smile on that serene face lined with the wrinkles of reality always makes me realize that yes, some people do have it in them to go out and make a difference.
5. Rekha: The azure sky indeed lulls itself to sleep with a glimpse of her smiling lips……….
"katra katra milti hai
katra katra jeene do
zindgi hai, bahne do
pyaasi hoon main pyasi rahne do…”
6. Shaan: His smile matches his magical voice. I find his smile very pleasant and appealing.
7. Oshin: Remember her? Doordarshan made her famous in India, and I still remember the angelic tilt of the lips of the young Oshin…
8. Govinda: You are still our Raja Babu!
9. Danny Denzongpa: This man is evergreen; I somehow never got over his wonderful smile, whether in reel life or in real life.
10. Reet & Ryan: When they smile, my world smiles too!
(P.S. …Did not want to make this list longer any more! When I come to think now, I feel that every genuine smile is special. Be it the perfect smile of a fashioiesta aided by cosmetic dentistry or the careless smile of the old watchman downstairs whose smile makes me feel wonderful. So keep smiling :-) )
