Just like that

At one point of time, some great men declared, “Never fall in love, because love hurts.” No wonder that we all tread this tricky road with utmost care and precaution. Some lucky souls have the privileges of expressing their feelings (and also being reciprocated in the process, the outcome depending on the reaction of the other party), while some unfortunate ones have to make do with NSP (‘नयन सुख प्राप्ति ) from afar. While there is no denying that love rests on the edifice of trust, at times one cannot help but come a full circle to be with the person with whom things did not quite become rosy in the conventional sense in some distant past. 

Still others talk of detachment; while detachment prevents unhappiness, it is incapable of providing you delight. Says who? Well, I do!
