LIFE
A frosty chill, harsh and strong
Some icy moments that nowhere belong;
A blanket of memories to ward off the chill,
Broken trusts that never heal…
Unending roads that are dark and lonely,
Helpless stares …so unfriendly!
You walk alongside but not hold my hand,
Stubborn hearts that never bend.
A steep climb up the mountain of life,
Ages wasted in fruitless strife,
But each day comes with promises new,
And as I look back I see you…
Some icy moments that nowhere belong;
A blanket of memories to ward off the chill,
Broken trusts that never heal…
Unending roads that are dark and lonely,
Helpless stares …so unfriendly!
You walk alongside but not hold my hand,
Stubborn hearts that never bend.
A steep climb up the mountain of life,
Ages wasted in fruitless strife,
But each day comes with promises new,
And as I look back I see you…
