You are an important part of my world,
But you are not my entire world….
The energy within me
Is not concentrated on you…
I have channelised my strength, my will power
In diverse directions…
Life does not begin with one person,
Life will not end in one person….
Yet, life will not be the same without you…
I want you to know that.
At times, you intrude into my solitude
You interefere, you irritate…
I wish you could understand that
My life is not tied with yours..
Rather than cross our paths,
I would prefer to move parallel to the road you tread.
Some moments are shy,
They open up only to me…
Some dreams are never meant to be,
And some acts are for all to see…
Your tears hurt me too,
Your smile lights up the world…
Even then I wish to tell
Without meaning to sound too rude and too bold..
That though you are an important part of my world,
But you are not my entire world….
