I heard you………..

Travelled the road of silence, it did….

And touched me like a thunder,

Strong and bright,

I tried to let it pass

But it stayed (with me)

The whole day and the entire night….

I do not have the azure canvass

Of the sky above or the sea below,

Neither do I have the depth of a valley

Nor any power stored at a stone’s throw….

The wind was silent, the river stagnant,

The woods were dead and the birds just slept,

And I looked out for the river of life..

The river, to make its presence felt…………

The driving rain and the flush of life

Were as good as nothing till hours ago

And now the dance of being alive

Is gripping the soul, steady but slow…..

And then it came, the voice so true..

Armed with life and hope…..

A life to live, a dream to build,

A journey till eternity, and even beyond……
