I live among all

I live among all
But I am “me”,
I stay in the crowd
Just a wave in the sea..

I smile and cry
And everyone is near,
Some hate me so
While some are so dear..

The eagerness to please
The effort to be “in”,
The battles of survival
The enemies and the kin…

I adjust to be a part
Of this banquet called ‘life’,
Some hold me close
Others cut like a knife..

Stories galore and fairies smile,
Tears dry up and each moment’s a trial…
And at the end , its the “me” that counts,
The friends fade away, and some memory haunts..
No regrets please, for we live just once,
Once time flies, destiny gives no chance….
