When time came with a tempting boon,
And I had to decide, and decide really soon..

My heart and mind were just in sync,
As if the present and the past found a link.

The truth would hurt, but I had to go,
And listen to my soul, though it hurt me so..

Half truths, half lies and half-half facts
At times we put on so many acts.

Though my conscience pulled be back
The heart told me honestly which path to take. 

Yes, I lied, and will lie forever
If such crossroads come again ever.

We live just once, and we live for all
And I lived for me, when I heard you call..

Life is hardship, life is duty
But at times, we find its beauty.

Yes, I lied, to live my life,
Yes I cut the faith with a knife..

I am human, my mistakes are my own
But with each hurdle, I have grown….
